| The Founders' Medal recognizes contributions of Academicians who have rendered especially distinguished service to the Academy in a variety of ways: administratively increasing the performance capability of the Academy, technically contributing to the quality technical or managerial body of knowledge, or publicly enhancing its prestige. |
